Spindle spacings

Firstly there doesn't seem to be a section for stairs..... unless i haven't looked hard enough??

secondly, how do I upload an excel/numbers file? i thought about Dropbox but it seems to need each person's email to allow access :(

i just made this spreadsheet for a friend to try and prove a point, would someone be so kind as to check my workings,

I wrote it in "numbers" apples version of excel, which annoyingly works in radians,

It seems to be giving the correct answers but it is always best to put it to peer review before i start publishing things

Numbers file would be a .csv .

If the Gaffer has banned .xls that would be due to virus potential etc.

One bodge is to change the file type, and people who download change it back to .xls.

Or upload elsewhere and link. I think you can set a file to be public on Dropbox or Google Drive.

I think you use a Dropbox thing called a 'shared link', which lets anyone with the link access the file.

Thusly:

Quote

Share a link

  1. Sign in to dropbox.com.
  2. Hover your cursor over the file or folder you'd like to share and click Share when it appears.
  3. If a link hasn't been created, click Create a link.
    • If a link was already created, click Copy link.
  4. The link will be copied to your clipboard. You can then paste it to an email, message, or wherever people can access it.

I think they can download but I have not tested it. Will test without being logged in if you post one.

TYVM, It appears that option is only available if you access dropbox through a browser, for some reason it is just not there if i try it through the app....

hopefully the above link works :)

Now, where is that bluddy acronym dictionary? xD

Seems to work and give a list of directions for backgammon or something.
