Decided to semi ignore you @Nickfromwales .

Ordered rubber flange thing but gone with weld for now as it hasn’t turned up yet . Where the waste pipe enters the tank is a rubber flange - so can cope with some movement .

I just want to congratulate Pocster on his solwelding skills. Just goes to show that with practice......... Soon, his " Iam the absolute b*llocks " may well be applicable (If only for his solweld)
