I’m looking to use pedestals to instal 3 raised patios at a house refurbishment in Scotland.
I’m struggling to find facts about the stability of self levelling pedestals when installed with 20mm 600x600 porcelain pavers.

I’ve seen one post that suggests the self levelling feature means the tile nodes are not rigid and move under load

because the 20mm pavers are not as heavy as cement pavers?

Any advise appreciated.

Self levelling? Or adjustable? Dealt with (take up and relay after getting machines in) loads of pedestal floors but can’t see how a self levelling one would work

Ahhh, so not really self levelling but self aligning or tolerant. I had a vision of them being on springs or something and self levelling would make drainage falls interesting lol
