Adjusting Rationel Auraplus Sliders

No but I am considering buying 2 sets.  Is there an issue with them?  I have come a cropper with some Ideal Combi sliders sticking and difficult to operate and I thought the Rationel ones would be better, being lift and slide.

I think they are really good, it's just that the ones on our balcony feel a bit stiff compared to the other set, I think it's down to fitters.

I see no obvious means od adjusting but there is a phone number on a label to request an adjustment guide.

Yes it is, never noticed the label before, I'll give them a call, thanks.

I can't see what the fitters could have done wrong unless they twisted the frame when they fitted it?

To fit ours, the fitters lifted out the sliding sash to halve the weight to be lifted, fitted the frame with the fixed sash and then put the sliding sash back in.  I really can't see anything they could have actually done to make it stiff.  Is it a case the stiff one is just larger and more mass to slide?  They are heavy, and not a door you would expect your granny to use with ease.

The pane that slides is 1604 x 2088 and I think about 150Kg so it would have definitely been taken out as it's on the first floor. The ones downstairs are exactly the same, I don't think I would think it as being stiff if we did not have those to compare. To be honest it's marginal and my wife thinks I'm being nit picking.

I have notice that there are scuff marks on the cill that makes me think that the leading edge as you close is rubbing, there are none at the other side.

That raised rail is the track the wheels run on, so they should not be scuffed like that.  Has it always been like that? Did that damage happen during install or otherwise during the build or has that happened in use?

I'm not 100% sure as the builders took little care when doing anything but I think it's happened in use.
