Danny68
Yaaayyy Planning permission granted , it only took 66 and a half weeks !!!!! from being validated and no we was never refused and no it did not go to committee or not a public one . Points to take away: Being nice and not hassling your case officer for fear of getting rejected I believe just allowed him to put our file at the bottom of the pile. And contacting the local ward councillor / m.p and ceo of planning in a targeted moan most certainly did. Let the stress begin ;-).
nod
Well done Your right Being nice a patient gets you Nowhere Ours came to an abrupt end when we requested the planning officer be replaced As we felt we were being treated unfairly The stress of building is nothing compared to the planning process 66 weeks is ridiculous Enjoy the moment

With my build I refused to get stressed because of health issues linked to stress in the past. I told my builder I understood shit happened in life and any problems we come across we will deal with, because of this our site was a stress free zone, perhaps I was lucky but stress only causes bad health and does not actually deal with the problem s you encounter, take a deep breath and count to ten! Years ago I got major stressed on a job I messed up but my plumber colleague was very good and said nobody is injured and sometimes the proverbial happens so normally I'm very good in stressful situations . But this planning has taken it out of me to point where I wouldn't even look at my plans . I'll taken on board about counting to 10
