Adsibob
According to the vendor of my Velux integra GGL UK10, “All VELUX INTEGRA windows have a rain sensor that is discreetly built into the window's frame and reacts at the very first drop of rain, thus automatically closes your window when it starts to rain.” Well, we’ve had more than a few drops and the automatic closure just isn’t working. We’ve not had a downpour, but we’ve had a bit of rain which would definitely be classed as “the very first drop”. Anybody had this issue and how did you solve it? wozza
I believe that the "Rain" sensor is built into the part with the solar panel - can you easily get to the window to test them. If I gently tap (simulate rain drops) the top part of my windows where the solar panel is they will close.
Adsibob
I don’t think mine are solar powered, as the electrician wired them in, each with their own fused spur
andy
If I recall, there was a plastic stuck over the gold rain sensor, did that get peeled off?
Adsibob
Hmmm, not sure. The rooflights are hard to access without scaffolding or a cherry picker!

andy
@Adsibob , it's a red piece of plastic you need to remove. 15:13 on this video (these vids were awesome for me when I installed mine!!):
