I am just looking into where all the services are in the area. I have found the mains electricity cables nearby via safedigs.com. I was just wondering if connecting to the mains is as "straight forward" (famous last words!!) as teeing off the mains cable which serves the existing house as shown in black in the attached picture? If so it seems that we would not need to involve any digging in any of the neighbours land... Any guidance would be appreciated. Edited May 4, 2022 by MarkW1979 omitted something
ProDave Posted May 4, 2022 Posted May 4, 2022 The only way to answer that is get a quote from the DNO for a new connection. Only they know what the local network can support and where you can take a supply from.
