Selfbuildsarah
Can I successfully have a mixture of black and white frames internally in a new build without it looking a complete mess? Does anyone have any photographic examples? There is one room I particularly want white and I feel in the kitchen I would rather have black than white. Everywhere else happy with either. House will be (hopefully) all black exterior frames with chalk white render, wood cladding, slate roof. Simplysimon
presume black kitchen units? what happens if that fad current 'in thing/must have' goes out of fashion soon and you change the units?
Marvin
Fashion changes all the time. I often think about this sitting on my advacado loo next to my chocolate coloured bath with gold taps. Whilst warming my head on the wall mounted bar heater watching my polystyrene ceiling tiles melt. Still, at least my bell bottoms are still in fashion.
SuperJohnG
I have black frames internally and externally...with the exception of the skylights which are white internally...the black was ANOTHER 300 quid option per window. Most places you can't see them together there is two rooms you can though but I will paint the skylight if it bothers me. I've still do to the inside. Attached pictures of limestone white render and black frames.
