Moonshine Posted April 6, 2022 Posted April 6, 2022 (edited) On landings is it typical when installing caberdek to fit to the joist edge or to over shoot by a little way, Below in the red balloon is 'joist bridge' landing across an atrium. Should the Caberdek be fitted flush to the joists or over shoot a bit for a banister / balustrade? This landing is the type of look i am after for the landing below is a 3D render of the stars and the area that is being boarded Edited April 6, 2022 by Moonshine
Bonner Posted April 8, 2022 Posted April 8, 2022 My floor has been installed overhanging the joists but it doesn’t look finished (not straight). Not sure how the builder is going to finish it, or he is leaving for the stairs supplier to advise.
PeterW Posted April 8, 2022 Posted April 8, 2022 Over sail by about 100mm then cut back when the balaustrade position has been marked.
