GrantMcscott
Getting UFH installed and then screed poured next week. Does it matter if there is small movement up and down between insulation boards 2 to 3mm. I have been going round putting blocks on them and foaming them together to stop it. The insulation is tight fitted but still some board still moving when you walk on them close to the joins Is it a concern or will the UFH pipes tighten it up and screed weigh it down? JohnMo
Need to fill all gaps, and tape them. The screed will weight it down. You don't want the screed to under the insulation or that's a world of pain. Prior to UFH heating pipes cover insulation with thin DPM and tape all joints. Nickfromwales
It needs to be a VERY thin membrane suitable for use with the liquid screed, so that it allows the screed to completely encompass the UFH pipe. Leave lots of slack / small folds in the membrane to allow it to be able to move and wrap as tightly as possible around the pipes. If you don’t leave this slack the membrane will tent over the pipes which you don’t want.

Nickfromwales
Are the pipes down yet? If going under then you’re linked one is fine. Sorry. Just assumed this was going atop retrospectively for some daft reason. Been a long day.
