If there is a red (blank) , grey or yellow (trickle) bung on top of the meter manifold, then you'll need to replace it with a standard white one. patp Posted January 11, 2022 Author Share Posted January 11, 2022 Is this "legal"? During one long phone call one of them did say to "get your plumber to access the water supply". Husband is the plumber but has been retired for many years. No water meters in his day. As above he is very law abiding so will not tamper with the water meter if it is forbidden.
