eandg Posted December 10, 2021 Share Posted December 10, 2021 I'd have thought increasing Building Standards capacity is a help to all - don't know the detail but there's a looming skills gap/shortage as the average Building Standards Officer is in their early 50s and it's not a very attractive (or competitive financially just now) role for young people interested in construction.
