Dunmow
Hi, I have an awful lot of pallets and wondered if I can reuse the pallet timber for battens for my roof insulation or between insulation / plasterboard? I will ofcourse go through and select the pieces that are in good condition and check they are the same thickness. Thanks
JohnMo
We build an insulated shed for my well water filters etc. Log shed and another shed to follow. But reason not to use as you suggest, but may be a lot of work compared to regular sized battons
TonyT
Sounds daft to me. don’t see the big house builders using pallets and they will try anything to save money. build a table, shed or have a bonfire.
PeterW
Sell them and buy proper treated battens. Round here they go for £3-4 each and they will collect.
