CalvinHobbes
Any thoughts? The wires, I see three....they dissect the site. I wonder could they be buried? Also there are three wires going from poles on street front to back. Front one takes 2 wires to cottage. I fancy 3 phase.

MikeSharp01
If the wires overfly the new house you can ask for them to be re-routed, which I think is at the Lecy companies expense. In our case they went through the new build, the company did all the work at no expense to us of burying the cables and reconnecting the two poles between which the overhead wire was strung. We did have to pay to have the new connection to the house made however.

G and J
Did the network provider reroute or bury the cables and if they did did they charge you?
Alan Ambrose
I would guess 3P too. In think the cost depends a lot on which DNO you’re dealing with, and how much of a rush you’re in. My understanding is that most DNOs will put in temporary safety protection for OH wires at little or no cost while you’re building / demolishing.
