We brush painted ours I recall. There was a choice of hammer finish metallic colours. Mine was a bronze from memory. Need to find a couple of similar colour cans of cheap spray.

We must have been posh as ours were made from galvy steel, still bothers me the most out of of the tools I have had nicked over the years that some thieving **’£#@ nicked my apprentice tool box.

I went to Jewel and Esk college for 6 months on a course in the very early 90’s. They had a planetarium which was very interesting.
