Grand Designs - old series

I was watching an old episode of GD, the one with the house called The Lighthouse.

It was never finished, despite spending millions they ran out of money.

 

It is in Cornwall

 

Does anyone who lives in that neck of the woods know if it was ever finished or it they even did any more than the shell that was left in 2017

It's in Devon, on the point of on of my favourite surfing beaches.

Its unfinished still

I drove past it last month when attending a wedding at Croyde - i thought it was the lighthouse from grand Designs.  it looked fairly close to being finshed.

There was an article in the last few months about this. I believe the guy had managed to nearly finish it. Don't remember whether he was planning to sell on.
