gravelrash
In Leeds and building a 150m2 warm flat roof house with parapet walls to 3 sides and struggling to find the type of company/contractor to do full job ie. that can build up the roof layers of osb, tapered insulation, osb then EPDM. I just seem to be finding small companies that do not really have experience or guarantees. what should I google? Anyone got a recommendation for companies around West Yorkshire? jayc89
We use a pretty good joiner, I think he's Selby based, we have him penciled in to do our extension roof. I'll PM you his number as I'm not sure he'd appreciate me plastering it over the internet. Edited October 28, 2021 by jayc89
gravelrash
Hi Jay, does he specialise in roofs or just a general Joiner?
nod
You will find that you will need two separate contractor The guys that do the EPDM on a regular basis Don’t do the Joinery work For a roof that size you will need a company rather than an individual So as to get a 25 year guarantee Mono Roof are based in Lancashire But like most of these flat roofing companies They get about
Conor
As above, you need a roofing or joinery contractor for the roof structure, and a company for the EPDM part. You might find a contractor that will do the structure and subcontract on the roofing guy and provide you a warranty for the lot. Insuring / mortgaging a 100% flat roof house won't be straightforward so a clear cut warranty on the system is essential.
