Hi all.

I must admit to having joined in the hope of gaining advice on a particular current problem well beyond my experience and skills... but I suppose that's why most are here, and decided to stay.

I've always wanted to build a Modernist SIPs house.... all flat-roof, glass wood and steel, but never managed to acquire the bank-balance needed. So instead I have to content myself with renovations to my little Lakeland cottage.
