Arnold9801 Posted August 30, 2021 Posted August 30, 2021 I'm up to the roofers starting with slating on a large new build at our existing home. Can anyone advise me where we could get insurance to cover the build in view of how much we've already spent on the project? Thank you.
ProDave Posted August 30, 2021 Posted August 30, 2021 You should have got insurance at the start as a self build site policy. It would have covered all your public liability as well as insuring the building at whatever stage it is now. That is what you should be seeking but is harder to find after the project has started.
Pocster Posted August 30, 2021 Posted August 30, 2021 Yes you can . I went with no insurance for about 6 years ? More tricky but not impossible . Can dig up the name of the insurer I used if it helps
