Went into paint shop

They claim that it looks like the plaster wasn’t fully dry .

It was left 2/3 weeks before I mist coated it . He then said perhaps the whole lot will crack and flake !! ? - thanks !!

I’m not convinced by his argument

Painted plenty of newly plastered walls before ....

Gently removed loose paint with a blunt chisel around another window . Gently sanded the paint ‘edges’ to ‘blend’ it into the plaster . Can feel the edge though ( always assume if I can’t feel it then it’s good enough )

Will wipe down to remove dust .

Then roller water downed coat of the vinyl mat ...

Watery emulsion again ( just for luck ); applied with roller .

Hot today . Touch dry in 10 mins .

So 30 mins later go for Mat vinyl with roller . Not looking too bad at all ! . Hard to judge properly as drying out - tomorrow will be the true test of my method

In 2021 a crack diy unit was sent to prison by planning committee for a crime they didn't commit. This man promptly escaped from a maximum security stockade to the Bristol underground. Today, still wanted by the government, he survives as a soldier of screw ups. If you have a problem, if no one else can help, and if you can find him, maybe you can hire the Pocster-Team.
