Lead flashing lengths

Hi renewing lead flashing, taking down 2.2m, recommended length seems to be 1.5,  will 2.2 be ok or 2 pieces.

Yes that’s fine

Fold up the 2.2 bit and pick it up, you might find a shorter piece easier to handle, unless there are two of you to support and guide it into position.

Rough rule to use,

code 4 lead, maximum 1.5m lengths

Code 5 lead, max 2m lengths

150mm overlap on joins
