ToughButterCup Posted February 1, 2021 Posted February 1, 2021 My favourite glue dispenser : I store it in my container, and this year for some reason the contents have gone hard - not all of it, just the bit in the pouring spout. I've tried leaving it on the heated flooring for a day to warm up, and putting it in very hot water, hoping it would melt ... but. Any way of dissolving the glue that's in there, or do I just have to replace it?
SteamyTea Posted February 1, 2021 Posted February 1, 2021 If it is PVA glue, just keep dunking it in hot water, and poke something down the hole.
ToughButterCup Posted February 1, 2021 Author Posted February 1, 2021 No, it's the D4 I had left over from gluing the floor boards to the joists ...
SteamyTea Posted February 1, 2021 Posted February 1, 2021 (edited) I would still try very hot water and a stick. Or isopropanol, or even meths. Edited February 1, 2021 by SteamyTea 1
Onoff Posted February 1, 2021 Posted February 1, 2021 Try some foam gun cleaner maybe, it's acetone I think. Might soften it. 1
