Ferdinand
Quick one. If a Private Building Controller chappie does a 1st Stage Inspection (Foundation?), is that accepted as evidence for the piece of paper (Lawful Development Certificate?) that a Planning Permission is locked in? Mr Punter
It should be but it varies. Best bet is to ask the planners to confirm. I have known small demolition to count on a multimillion scheme, sometimes new site access, sometimes piling where they install 3 piles and bugger off for a few years. SuperJohnG
Get a letter from the LA confirming. 24 years passed since my development theoretically commenced...and I've walked in and taken it on. There was nothing gndone but access and landscaping...but there was letter from the LA saying it had commenced which was from 1996.
DevilDamo
Although LDC applications do not have such conditions tied to them. Only Full applications have ‘start within 3 years’ conditions. LDC applications are like MOT’s, i.e. acceptable on that date.
