Hello. Slowly renovating an Arts and Crafts style house

Hello all. Thought I would introduce myself. 

I'm slowly renovating  a 4 bed house built in a brain twisting way.

I was brought here trying to find out a little more about building structures

So far I can tell my house is a mix of single and double wall, various roof types various window types, some mystery wall materials and a host of electrical and plumbing surprises.

I aim to help others and ask questions.
