Bozza
For my new (self) build house my builder is quoting what works out to be about £100 per sqm for approx 45sqm of slabbed paving. Quote includes the slabs - 600x600 concrete slabs dyed dark grey as requested which cost £6 each. The job would be done properly to a high standard. Does this sound about right ? PeterW
Ouch !!! I’ll come and do it for £95... @Nickfromwales can labour for me ..! Assuming this is onto a 150mm sub base that is onto a scraped site, it should be around £15/m for the sub base and then £10/m for sand and cement at 50mm to bed the slabs. Your slabs are £17/m so £20/m to lay and point you should be around the £60/m all in at most.

Nickfromwales
That’s over £20 a slab. Count up how may will go down and make them a counter offer. Edited October 15, 2020 by Nickfromwales
