wozza Posted August 13, 2020 Posted August 13, 2020 Looking for opinions on the best Sealant / Adhesive to fix wet room glass. I have read somewhere that CT1 Clear will go yellow over time - hence why they now sell BT1, anyone used it - I cant find any local stockists. There are a few "Crystal Clear" products out there, anyone got any real world experience with them? I have used Sikaflex EBT+ clear on other areas (fixing sole plates to the floor) and it appears to be staying clear, is it a good option? Thanks, Wozza.
PeterW Posted August 13, 2020 Posted August 13, 2020 White CT1 can discolour but never heard of BT1. Are you talking about the floor to glass join or the wall to glass..? 1
wozza Posted August 13, 2020 Author Posted August 13, 2020 (edited) BT1 is New - specially for bathrooms https://www.ct1.com/our-products/bt1/ Joining glass to tray. Edited August 13, 2020 by wozza

PeterW Posted August 13, 2020 Posted August 13, 2020 Only seems to be available in white. Glass to tray then spacers and CT1 clear would be my choice. Then pull the spacers and fill the gaps when dry. 1
Gone West Posted August 13, 2020 Posted August 13, 2020 I have used Soudal Fix All Crystal Clear MS Polymer on my build. It's been been in use for three years and not changed colour yet. 1
