Dave Jones Posted May 5, 2020 Posted May 5, 2020 Hi, I am looking to fit a Vent Axia sentinel multivent into a relatives bungalow. I have access to ceilings for all the rooms (5) that need venting. https://www.vent-axia.com/range/lo-carbon-sentinel-multivent-plus Does anyone have experience of these units ? Are they any good? Should I be looking at another brand ? What sort of ducting is best to use, flexible/rigid ? thanks Dave
Mr Punter Posted May 5, 2020 Posted May 5, 2020 I was looking at this a while ago and had Passivent on my shortlist as well. They did a system where the vents in the rooms reacted to the local humidity. It looked quite clever but I just went with standard extracts in the end.

Was it a success?
Dave Jones Posted February 21, 2021 Author Posted February 21, 2021 i did, used it for 2 baths and utility. Silent and means no punching through the walls for extract vents per building control. Will be using again for sure.
Iceverge Posted February 21, 2021 Posted February 21, 2021 Excellent, I've got one on the way for my folks home to see if it can dry the place up a little. I think I'll going to have to core a 150mm hole through the wall thought. My plan is to begin by installing it as a single point extract in a central area and add more ducts if that doesn't work.
