MEV Unit

Hi,

I am looking to fit a Vent Axia sentinel multivent into a relatives bungalow. I have access to ceilings for all the rooms (5) that need venting.

https://www.vent-axia.com/range/lo-carbon-sentinel-multivent-plus

Does anyone have experience of these units ? Are they any good? Should I be looking at another brand ?

What sort of ducting is best to use, flexible/rigid ?

thanks

Dave

I was looking at this a while ago and had Passivent on my shortlist as well.

They did a system where the vents in the rooms reacted to the local humidity.  It looked quite clever but I just went with standard extracts in the end.

@Dave Jones

Did you install one of these units or something similar in the end?

Was it a success?

Excellent, I've got one on the way for my folks home to see if it can dry the place up a little.

I think I'll going to have to core a 150mm hole through the wall thought.

My plan is to begin by installing it as a single  point extract in a central area and add more ducts if that doesn't work.
