Rationel outward opening french doors

Bit of an idiots question, and not just applicable to Rationel, but with a cill detail like this:

 

How are the  jambs fixed to the threshold? And if they are not, what stops the jambs spreading apart at the bottom before and during installation?

That looks like a low threshold. It will be screwed up from underneath into each jamb.

That looks like the detail we have.  The bottom bar is aluminium and fixed to the two jambs so they won't spread.

 

Ours all came with another piece of wood attached to the bottoms as well, I think for extra strength during transit, that was removed on installation.

Thanks chaps. I didn't think the threshold would extend the whole width of the door including the frame but that makes sense to me now.
