BMcN
Just a quick one, I am at home so I can't check for myself. I have a Parkside mains collated gun like this https://www.ninefdshop.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&products_id=316824 I also have a Duraspin DS 50 battery one. Would either or both of these work with flooring screws like these, if I bought a SQ2 150mm driver? https://www.ffx.co.uk/tools/product/Senco-45W65My-0074147420878-Duraspin-Collated-Screws-Flooring--Wood-Sq2-4.5-X-65Mm-1000Pk
dpmiller
each will have a spec for the maximum screw length. Looks like the DS50 does 55mm, dunno about the Parkside.
nod
If I remember right Senco will take 25 to 45 screws We used to drill an extra hole so they would take 55 mil screws
BMcN
I managed to find a manual online saying 41mm for Parkside one and 55mm for ds50. I might just have to go for 55mm screws and hope the senco is powerful enough
Ferdinand
And I have a different Senco and my chap said he was able to do I think 55mm screws by removing a bit from the front end. So it may be tweakable ...the Senco ... but perhaps not for 65mm if you really need those. Edited February 8, 2020 by Ferdinand
