I recall mentioning this to a BC officer a while back and he said technically you don't need to have any internal doors on any rooms at all. Or maybe he said only bathrooms are mandated to have a door, I can't recall exactly. Just wondered if anyone knows the rules as my architect disagrees and I can't get hold of building control until Monday. Thanks

Thanks The restrictions for doors and fire doors come in when you are more than a ground floor and a first floor
