rendering, Timber cladding

Hi

I wanted my render and timber cladding to go all the way to the ground is this possible? Or will I have to come out of the ground in brick and start my rendering and cladding above DPC?

You need to be above DPC

Also splash zone

 

If the woods too close to ground level the rain will splash up and ruin the ends.
