Mike_scotland
Hi, Does anyone know of any funding available if your building a self build home? - like i have heard that there are grants available or interest free loans for heating systems etc, does anyone have any experience with this? I am based in Scotland. Much Thanks Mike
Ralph
There are grants for self builders in Scotland but only if you can't get finance from standard banks and you need to either own or be able to buy the land yourself. https://www.energysavingtrust.org.uk do an interest free loan for renewables up to £17.5K, I'm looking at this one myself. Thedreamer
Wasn't right for us. https://www.hscht.co.uk/scotland-self-build-loan-fund.html Have a look at FAQ first. Edited August 23, 2019 by Thedreamer

We got that for our pellet stove but you have to have it installed by an mcs installer
