It looks like the top of one of those "scopes" that double decker drivers used to use to monitor the schoolboys upstairs, but that we used to look down instead to look the driver in the eye, and to see how fast the bus was going.

 

That freezer looks interesting.

Wow that looks great! Must be amazing to be out of the caravan and the dogs must be happy too now. Whatever else needs doing can just get done as and when now that you are in the house. 

Ha ha ha @ Ferdinand it’s nothing quite so exotic! It’s a mirror that I inadvertently left lying when I took the photo ?the fridge freezer is a french style Samsung two doors to the fridge on top and a drawer just underneath for cold meats etc then two freezer drawers which I am liking very much, we used to have an American fridge freezer with the water/ ice dispenser but it seemed to restrict the amount of room in the freezer, this one also has a sparkling water facility by way of a soda stream cartridge,

yes @ newhome the dogs are quite happy to be back in the hub of the family although their freedom is restricted now as they can’t go running through all the muck bringing it back into the house and this will be the case until we get the garden sorted out.not a lover  of painting but hubby hasn’t been well this last few weeks so yesterday I tackled one of the bedrooms and surprised myself when I managed to get it all done!
