Big Jimbo
If you make a planning application, and you either withdraw it, or it is refused. You are entitled to what is called a "Free Go" Does anybody know if this is limited to either one free go for each application, or limited to one free go per site ? For example.... Application to extend..... Withdrawn Application to extend..... Entered as free go..... Passed Application to knock and build Two...........Refused..... Any idea if i can re-submit with a new scheme for Two, as a free go ? Or have i used up my one free go per site. I can't find out anywhere on Gov sites, and don't want to ask planning yet. Many thanks.
joe90
I had a free go when I applied for planning for a loft conversion and was refused. I was told at the time that as long as the free go is broadly the same thing as the original then it counts. However I would never take a planners word for anything in the future having dealt with some total bar stewRds down my way, get in in writing first.
bassanclan
No, you've definitely got a second free go. You've paid two fees you've got two free resubmissions
