readiescards Posted November 27, 2018 Posted November 27, 2018 I brought 3 LED semi flexible 2 metre long: But 2 drivers blew straightaway and the replacement drivers seem unable to power the lights - they have a terrible connection consisting of just a couple of sharp nails. I checked the driver output voltage and my multi meter is saying 220V! Anyone got any LED strip light recommendations? Going on top of a wood beam illuminating upwards to reflect of ceiling so needs to be pretty powerful.

bassanclan Posted November 28, 2018 Posted November 28, 2018 Cpc have 5m 24v led strip for around £5.50. You need a driver whixh are about £7-10 from ebay or similar
readiescards Posted December 7, 2018 Author Posted December 7, 2018 Apparently they are 220V DC led strips. Is 220v DC safe just encased in 1 or 2mm of clear plastic with connectors which appear just as a pair of nails?
