Combriband

Hi

Rational windows are in combriband was going to be fitted but most of the windows are a little tight in the opening  was just going to strap windows in then foam both sides then render to face of window  .Any thoughts

certainly need a gap under for shrinkage.

You will need to allow for the window opening in the timber frame to move downwards relative to the blockwork opening.  This will be more so for upper floors.
