Repairing concrete

Hey all

 

So what’s the best way to fill in this dug out concrete  around the rebar ?

Need to do it before frost gets in there 

Assume just a concrete mix will shrink and crack ??? . Cement with chipping perhaps ??

Get some fibres from Wickes, for one thing to do.

Your going to have to  hose it to get rid of dust so it's clean for the new mix to key to it.  All loose edges removed.

Those fibres did the trick ! ?
