Anyone installed a vaillant ashp just had a quote from local supplier its a 15kw system

I believe that this is another re-badged Carrier heat pump, certainly their previous model was.  If the price is right, and the support from Valliant and the supplier is OK, then the heat pump itself will probably be fine.  Carrier are a pretty big manufacturer; Willis Carrier invented the things around 100 years ago.

 

The reason I believe this may well be a re-badged Carrier unit is because several of us have been doing detective work to find out who really makes a number of different heat pumps and several seem to be really made by Carrier.  A couple of years ago @Alphonsox put together some of the manuals in one location in this post:

Thanks,just got to negotiate with plumbing outlet as price given is before any discounts. Can I buy a carrier unit instead or does anyone know who sells them.
