Onoff Posted April 28, 2018 Posted April 28, 2018 25mm EPS vs 25mm PIR: The approx thermal conductivity is .038W/mK for the EPS & .023W/mK for the PIR. Is it really as simple as the PIR is nearly twice as good as the EPS at this thickness?

Temp Posted April 29, 2018 Posted April 29, 2018 Some people say that the thermal properties of PIR degrade over time but as I understand it the value quoted is the degraded value so actually PIR is slightly better than the quoted value when new.
