Cost steel web,or i joist

Has anybody got any cost comparison between a steel web joist or a jji I beam type joist

these will be used for roof rafters rather than flooring 

just trying to get a feel for it before I ask a few local companies.

I found that for roofing the metal web ones were slightly better as they had a wider top and bottom flange but the JJi joists can be altered on site so would have been easier to work with. 

 

In  the end we went 8x2 as tbh it was easier !!
