Mr Blobby Posted Thursday at 13:04 Posted Thursday at 13:04 (edited) There must be a prettier option than having this on my patio? Edited Thursday at 13:16 by Mr Blobby
Mr Punter Posted Thursday at 13:28 Posted Thursday at 13:28 If it is for surface water, a slot drain can look very neat.

Personally, I don't like to see waste pipes so I've run all of mine internally, but if it's too late for that option I'd fit a low back p-trap below ground level and stick a connector into it (link below) and drop the basin waste straight into it. https://www.screwfix.com/p/mcalpine-push-fit-1-inlet-offset-drain-connector-110mm/871JG?tc=EA3&gclsrc=aw.ds&gad_source=1&gad_campaignid=19822796606&gclid=CjwKCAjwwrPVBhA1EiwAv_YO-dSEbUlrmUKGFlScMHRt7E73LS3CCRkUxqpoD9aUgigeLRbQqVx4rhoCJNoQAvD_BwE Edited Friday at 11:27 by Roundtuit

The waste is through the slab and exits underground. From the cloakroom basin. Builder says we need a gulley trap like this on the patio, one side connecting to the basin waste underground, the other to the manhole. Seems the done thing here in NI. Which is a shame.
