crispy_wafer Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago Trimmed some end panels and have some non faced edges that I’d like to protect. once upon a time it used to be pva that was used to protect them. But since times have moved on and it’s been shown that pva is no good around moisture could I paint on sbr instead? I’m guessing at this point so please put me straight 👍. ta, marek
Super_Paulie Posted 52 minutes ago Posted 52 minutes ago I rubbed in clear Sika EBT into my raw edges, seems to have worked. 1
Conor Posted 22 minutes ago Posted 22 minutes ago Waterproof PVA 🤣 A smear of silicone Lick of varnish Used all three from time to time and all good options. Waterproof PVA would be my choice if it's MDF, silicone if it's chipboard.
