Find metal studs behind metalised foil plasterboard?

please advise best method for indentifying metal wall studs in new build flat where the plasterboard has metal backing? Many thanks

Use a strong magnet (search Amazon) it will find all the screws attaching the plasterboard to the studwork and, if strong enough, the metal stud work itself.

+1 to this! It was a revelation when I was told about it.

Magnet is great method. Put a bit of card between the magnet and the wall so you don't mark it. Use it all the time in our ICF house as there is no other way to find the plastic webs
