WiltshireLink Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago Hi All, Taking my stone slips up the side of my window reveals but I am wondering how I do the head? Going to use corner slips for the sides but unsure of the heads. What did you guys do? Thanks
JohnMo Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago Where does your window sit, how far back, that may decide how you do it. My windows are flush with the wall so it was easy.
Russell griffiths Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago Corner slips or mitre and glue your own. depends what look you want, do you want a large chunk of stone to look like a lintel stone.
Russell griffiths Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago I did this, personal taste really, I would have like a big stone to look like a lintel, but was running out of enthusiasm and it just needed finishing.

All the stone was cut to 50mm thick and stuck on, then with the big ones I cut a notch out of the back and they sit on a chunk of 50x50 angle the underside will have a coloured ally trim to match the windows and hide the angle.
WiltshireLink Posted 1 hour ago Author Posted 1 hour ago Ah so a metal carrier then aluminium trim on the inside?
