Pakistan's GDP, in 2024 was $371,570,000, UK $3,686,033,040. Near as damn it, a tenth of ours. https://data.worldbank.org/indicator/NY.GDP.MKTP.CD Per Capita CO2 emissions are 0.72 tonne/person for Pakistan, UK 4.35 tonnes/person. https://ourworldindata.org/grapher/co-emissions-per-capita Population of Pakistan is 255,219,554, UK 69,551,332. https://www.worldometers.info/geography/countries-of-the-world/ 1
Oz07 Posted January 23 Posted January 23 Is it any surprise Pakistan has a lower co2 person output?! It's the bloody third world! They don't have electricity in caves. The solar is good news but we don't want to be in a hurry to match their co2 per person else we may go back to living in caves ourselves.
Spinny Posted January 27 Posted January 27 Tad more sun in Pakistan. Must lower the cost per unit of solar power. You are going to aspire to a fridge, a washing machine, and even some air con.
