It probably doesn't matter whether I vent at the STP or further down at the distribution chamber, but I wanted to ask what others did. Both options are straightforward to implement, but was sure which one to go with?

Usually on a one2clean, I vent after the tank and before the drainfield.

The way in which the blower pipes feed to the control box can also be put in 110mm and an auxiliary vent can be added (although this will be noisy during discharges).

Ok.  I didn't see your reply so ended up back filling the pipe from the stp to the drainage field.  I now have two options.  Vent at the tank via one of the 110mm holes on the 'maxi' neck OR vent at the distribution chamber.  Given you say it might be noisy if I vent at the tank, I'm tempted to do the later.

If you vent at the tank, just add a very good AAV valve, its not that noisy and its only 2x per day for 30mins. If you set it to empty at 8am and 8pm you will likely never hear it.

Ideally use a black stand pipe and a black AAV and hide it best you can.

The lids are not airtight anyway so will self vent.

I ended up venting at the distribution chamber and used a vent with a carbon filter.  Hopefully, it will be ok.
