As always when buying baths try one before you buy one - yes on line is cheaper but if someone likes a long soak in a hot bath then you will never hear the end of it if the bath is uncomfortable to lay in for any length of time.

if its just for showering next owner will find out if it’s comfortable ;)

So many people don't consider just quite how much of a PITA these things are to fill, and just how much hot water is needed, plus I have sat in a few and I'm not short, and there's just no way to hold yourself comfortably in any other position than 'laid back and drowning'. I fitted one for a lady who was vertically challenged, and honestly she needed a lifeguard to be with her.

Just insane amount of water, and an age to fill up too, but god help you if you have a combi instead of a good UVC!!!.

I'm a broad chested guy, my wife is generously chested too.

As deep was an essential requirement, and I was amazed at how few bath manufacturers actually list the height of the overflow in their spec. I had to contact several of them to ask.

It seems utterly pointless to me that some of the huge baths on the market actually can't fill as deep as some of the cheaper ones that look shallower.

Filling a bath with pricey hot water, only for it to go literally down the drain.

Indeed. Some are described as extra deep, which puts the bottom deck of the bath closer to the floor without making the bath much taller to step into. Lots to decipher tbh!
