A delay in funding for the project meant a significant delay in commencement. We had about 40 Sheets of foiled backed plasterboard stacked, foil against foil. We are not sure what has happened but the sheets are stuck together 2 at a time, foil to foil. Is there a way we can separate them without causing damage to the sheets? Thankyou in advance for any advice. Terry

What have you tried so far to separate them? Can you get a corner apart?

May be one to run by the builders merchants in case they’ve dealt with this problem in house / other.

Set a heater blower up a couple of meters away to loosen them

I can get an edge up but you can see that if I tried to lift it any further the board will start to crack. I have tried heat, but that seem to work either. Although under cover in an open extension I think it must have been a damp environment that caused the sheets to stick together. Terry

If it's foil to foil that's stuck, rather than paper, and you can get a corner up you could try pulling a length of string held at both ends between the boards to break what may just be surface tension between them. Like using a wire to cut a clay pot off a wheel. If the foil gets slightly damaged you could aluminium tape to repair or use a separate VCL if you're relying on the foil for that purpose. Some lower in your pile may not be as tightly stacked anyway.
