Dan1983 Posted Monday at 19:32 Posted Monday at 19:32 Evening all Ive had my RSJs delivered and they are starting to be installed but I don’t think the corner posts are correct Would there be a reason for them to be made in this way?
Temp Posted Monday at 19:51 Posted Monday at 19:51 (edited) Perhaps intended to allow a bit of timber vertically in the corner? Reduces the visual impact of the RSJ? Edited Monday at 19:53 by Temp 1 1

Dan1983 Posted Monday at 20:30 Author Posted Monday at 20:30 It’s not so bad in that orientation but thinking it will look odd when they are the opposite way round for the steps in the middle of the wall as it will skew/ offset everything Will ask in the morning if there was a reason as only one cemented in so far It will really bug me i think Got 6 of them and non refundable I think 😂

There are different ones for joining sleepers end to end in the middle of a wall.. https://www.aafencing.co.uk/products/rsj-railway-sleeper-post-raw-steel-intermediate?gad_source=1&gad_campaignid=21969916683&gbraid=0AAAAAprPxhDFXMV1bmBp3GKe2A1QdfyEr&gclid=CjwKCAjwl_XBBhAUEiwAWK2hzhe1gySsQvH_494A0E-RH3DyJF19IegcNOGjkPMJk5YEj36gQ4DwOxoCdg8QAvD_BwE I can't immediately see what you use for a T joint. Perhaps you have to bolt two of the above together?
Dan1983 Posted Monday at 20:49 Author Posted Monday at 20:49 Will be the same as the corner posts but will look like this from the front
Dan1983 Posted Tuesday at 12:50 Author Posted Tuesday at 12:50 All sorted Had an issue with one of the posts so had all the other ones replaced how I wanted The one installed will remain and will use the same style at the other end then tie the sleeper flower bed in by notching the end of the first sleeper like below
